The North Texas History Center, in partnership with the Collin County Commissioners Court, Collin County Historical Commission, and Myers Park and Event Center will sponsor one of North Texas’ largest living history events.
The three day event will portray North Texas circa 1860-1865 by bringing together hundreds of living history reenactors. These fine and talented people will present aspects of life in the 1860’s by depicting: Life on the Home Front, Battles, Life in Camp, and much more.
The reenactment will include cannons, cavalry and infantry, authentic period military camps, period and current day vendors, concerts by a Confederate brass band, and much more, all up close and personal on 165 acres of rolling land and trees in McKinney, Texas.
